Each and every week there are certain players in FanDuel who are priced super low but have potential to help you win a tournament. Consider this a guide of who to play Week 14 to give you a competitive edge against all the other players.
QB. Jimmy Garoppolo: $7,000
Jimmy Garoppolo has a fantasy football enthusiast’s dream matchup. Garoppolo will be taking on the Houston Texans who have allowed the second most points to fantasy football quarterbacks. Compile that with the fact that he is only 7,000 dollars and you’re in heaven.
To put it into perspective the Texans allowed 26.9 points to Alex Smith, 35.1 to Russel Wilson, 35.7 to Tom Brady, 19.5 to Jacoby Brissett, and 19.6 Blaine Gabbert!
Garoppolo has also played pretty well since playing his first game in a 49ers uniform.
All of these together make Garoppolo’s matchup the “dream matchup!” Defiantly consider adding him to your lineup.
QB. Eli Manning: $6,000
This will be a game that Eli Manning plays his heart out just to “stick it” to the Giants since they benched him last week. Manning is also priced at the lowest starting quarterback this week!
Everyone should take advantage of that price and he is also facing the Cowboys who have allowed the 10th most points to opposing quarterbacks.
Its as if the stars are aligned for this matchup. Also for those of you reading this who are good at math here you go, Redemption match + Great Matchup + Super Cheap Price= Great DFS start!
RB. Samaje Perine: $6,600
Samaje Perine has been playing well recently. His last week’s matchup was slow due to an injury. But he is back and is facing the Chargers defense who has allowed the sixth most points to opposing running backs.
Perine is always a good play because of how the Washington Redskins love targeting the running backs in the passing game, not to mention his surplus of carries!
Perine also has a small fee of only 6,600 dollars and such a high floor and ceiling that he should find his way into your lineup.
RB. Peyton Barber: $5,500
Despite Doug Martin practicing Peyton Barber still remains the better start against a woeful Lions defense. Barber has a very cheap price but yet will stay the Tampa Bay Buccaneers top running back due to his youth and recent success.
Barber has been sneaking up on people despite rushing for 100 yards last week and having four receptions for 41 yards. Week 12 he also ran for two touchdowns.
Barber should be able to get a good amount of production for a bargain price of only 5,500 dollars.

Ep 101: Conference Championship Sunday - Preview, Prop Bets, and Predictions
by Full Press Coverage on January 29, 2023 at 11:25 am
WR. Josh Gordon: $6,700
Josh Gordon racked up 85 yards against a very tough Chargers defense. Oh yeah did I forget to mention that was his first time playing in about three years?
For someone who hasn’t played in a long time and against a top-notch secondary, Gordon looked sharp. Now imagine how he will play after getting into the swing of things and playing the Packers who have allowed the fourth most points to wide receivers.
If you are imagining anything close to what I’m thinking you’ll realize that only a 6,700 dollar fee is super cheap!
WR. Marvin Jones Jr: $7,000
Over the past few weeks, Marvin Jones has appeared as a WR1 in fantasy football. Even after facing a tough Ravens defense Jones found ways to produce, and now he gets to face the Buccaneers who have allowed the most points to fantasy wide receivers!
Jones fee is super small considering the level of production from guys who’s fee is either higher or lower than his. Jones who has been on a hot streak of late is almost a must start!
That is as long as Matthew Stafford is playing. Stafford bruised his hand but is throwing and in line to play this Sunday. But, if Stafford doesn’t play and Jake Rudock suits up then proceed with caution!
WR. Marquise Goodwin: $5,700
Yet another under the radar guys who has been on fire recently, at a price of only 5,700 dollars! In Goodwin’s last three games he has caught 13 passes for 260 yards and a TD.
But, things should be heating up as the speedy deep threat goes to work against the Texans who are in the top 10 for most points allowed to fantasy wide receivers.
As mentioned earlier extra points for pairing him with Jimmy Garoppolo.
TE. Austin Seferian-Jenkins: $5,900
Austin Seferian-Jenkins has a favorable matchup against the Denver Broncos and is only 5,900 dollars despite being one of the most consistent and best fantasy tight ends around.
The Broncos have allowed the third most points to tight ends, and the Jets will possibly be without Robbie Anderson so Josh McCown might lean on ASJ.
The Jets playoff chances might be at stake this Sunday so there may be a factor of the Jets playing super hard and being motivated, ASJ is worth the start.
DEF. New York Jets: $4,500
The Jets have actually been a pretty good fantasy football defense to start. But the true eye-catching thing is that they will be facing the Denver Broncos who have allowed the most fantasy points to defenses.
Despite all of this they are only 4,500 dollars and the best fantasy defense to start in my opinion, cheap asking price or not this week.
