The Detroit Lions can’t afford to get caught up in the crowded NFC playoff picture as they host the division-rival Bears at home on a short week. The Bears are coming off a 33-7 stomping of the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. At 7-6, they need to win all three games and hope the rest falls into place for them to grab a wild-card seed, or even more unlikely, the division.

As they have all season, the injuries have continued to pile up along the Lions’ offensive line. The team is without starting right tackle Rick Wagner and center Travis Swanson, while T.J. Lang is questionable. Check out the final injury report with game designations for Saturday’s matchup against the Bears.

Lions Final Injury Report

Player Position Injury Thurs. Status
T. Swanson TE Concussion DNP Out
R. Wagner LB Ankle DNP Out
E. Ansah DE Ankle Limited Quest.
E. Cleary T Ankle Full Quest.
T.J. Lang G Foot Limited Quest.
A. Abdullah RB Neck Full
J. Agnew CB Knee Full
T. Decker T Shoulder Full
N. Lawson CB Illness Full
C. Robinson T Foot Full

Detroit’s pass rush hasn’t been good over the past few games and it could be in worse shape with Ezekiel Ansah potentially out for Saturday’s game. Ameer Abdullah, Jamal Agnew, Taylor Decker and Nevin Lawson each got more practice time as the week went on and are good to go tomorrow.

Even without the injuries along the offensive line, Detroit was already in for a tough matchup against a stout Bears front seven. Matthew Stafford still has an injured hand but was out there practicing all week and didn’t look overly affected by the injury in last week’s win over the Buccaneers. Be sure to check back tomorrow for game coverage.
