The Buffalo Bills have shocked the league after last weeks victory over the Miami Dolphins. It wasn’t because that they won, it’s because they secured their 8th win this season when in the beginning of the season it was looking like they would get themselves a higher draft based on how the roster was looking at the time. They had traded away both Ronald Darby and Sammy Watkins both who have impacted the team somehow and someway. Later on, they traded away a big man in Marcell Dareus to the Jaguars.

The Bills, lead by LeSean McCoy beat the Dolphins 24-16 this past Sunday. The offense did exceptional in the first half but could not get anything going in the second half. Luckily, the defense played all four quarters and picked off Jay Cutler three times including the game-sealing pick by Tre’Davious White.

The Bills improve to 8-6 on the season and increase their playoff chances. Going into Week 16, the pressure is getting turned up even more for the Bills.

They will take on the New England Patriots who beat the Pittsburgh Steelers and are now fighting for a first round bye in the playoffs. The Pats moved up to 11-3 and they are now the team to beat in the AFC.

The good news for the Bills about this game? This game won’t determine whether or not they make the playoffs. It will either increase or decrease their chances. If the Bills can pull off the upset, this will give them a major boost in the playoff race and heading into Week 17 at Miami. Another set of good news is that Rex Burkhead will more than likely not play against the Bills. Burkhead has been a key factor in the offense especially in the red zone.

The bad news for the Bills? They are playing in New England and the Patriots are coming off an excellent win over what was arguably the best team in the AFC or even in the league. Rob Gronkowski is back and he balled out against the Steelers. He will already be a tough matchup for the Bills and the Bills will still have to deal with Danny Amendola, Brandin Cooks, Kenny Britt and possibly Chris Hogan if he is healthy enough to play.

The Bills will need to win all three phases of the game without question. Hopefully everyone is healthy and can play. It’s going to take everything in the team to grab a win and keep the dream of snapping the playoff drought alive.
