2018 Cardinals Draft Profile
Name: Jordan Chunn
Position: Running Back/Fullback
Jordan Chunn is a big time talent from a small school. He holds the school record with 47 rushing touchdowns in addition to a 1,000 yard season in 2016. A leg injury kept him out of two games in 2017 but Chunn still finished with 774 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns.
Chunn is a big back who can catch the football. The Cardinals currently have Elijah Penny as their short yardage guy but he is a free agent. Chunn is versatile and has the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and is a talented runner. Bringing him into camp as an undrafted free agent would be a wise decision.

The big back is quick and shifty, often making the first defender miss in the backfield. Chunn is a strong runner who has a nose for the end zone as 47 career touchdowns show. Played well in big games, rushing for more than 100 yards against LSU in 2017. Can be a receiving option out of the backfield. Shows a great burst through the hole and powers through contact.
Lacks top end speed to run away from defenders. Was not asked to pass protect often and will need to improve footwork. Ran primarily out of spread sets in college and will need to adjust to pro style offense. He occasionally had issues with ball protection when defenders focused on stripping the football.
