Bio:
Equanimeous St. Brown did not come from a familiar path to the NFL. St. Brown is the son of a two-time Mr. Universe, John Brown. His mother is from Germany. He spent time in a French school while living in California. St. Brown played for Notre Dame and finished his career there with 92 catches for 1,484 yards and 13 touchdowns. His 2016 season saw 58 receptions and 961 yards. He connected well with then-quarterback Deshone Kizer but struggled in 2017 with Brandon Winbush throwing the passes. St. Brown finished his final season with just 33 catches for 515 yards and four touchdowns.
Team Fit:
St. Brown is a deep threat wide receiver. The Cardinals need a deep threat wide receiver. He can play outside or in the slot for Arizona, although with Larry Fitzgerald on the field, St. Brown could be used on the same side as the future Hall of Fame receiver. St. Brown’s size provides a big target for whoever plays quarterback for the Cardinals and over time become a solid second option at wide receiver.

Strengths:
Tall receiver with length and speed. Has the versatility to move around the line of scrimmage. Smooth movements help pick up speed and allows him to get open on comeback routes. Plus ability in change of direction. Has the size and willingness to go over the middle of field. Has the speed to make big plays. Plays faster than he looks.
Weaknesses:
Struggles against physical cornerbacks. Needs to get stronger at point of catch when being contacted. Seems to lack consistent drive and can get easily frustrated. Will need to get better at sharpening route transitions. Struggles with separating downfield. Is not a high volume pass catcher.
