On Tuesday, Los Angeles Chargers lost TE Hunter Henry for the 2018 season as he suffered a torn ACL.
Stunner from LA: Chargers’ TE Hunter Henry suffered a season-ending torn ACL today, per league source. Did it during a drill, running downfield, untouched. Second opinion coming Wednesday.

The Chargers put on their helmets for the first time in the offseason process, as they started their first day of OTAs.
The third-year tight end has never completed a full-season in the NFL, missing three games over his rookie and sophomore seasons.
By making the decision not to renew future Hall of Famer Antonio Gates’ contract, the team have limited options at the position. It is unclear, as yet, whether the Chargers will approach Gates to ask him to return.
The team did sign Virgil Green from rivals Denver, giving 29-year old a three-year contract. Sean Culkin, who spent most of 2017 inactive, and Brandon Bowman, who spent the majority of time on the practice squad, are also options. As well as 2018 undrafted free agents Ben Johnson and Cole Hunt.
