It’s been a long time coming, but Lions’ star defensive back Darius Slay, whose nickname “Big Play Slay” encapsulates both his swagger and big-play ability, finally made the NFL’s Top 100 list, which is voted on solely by current NFL players.
In Slay’s first appearance on the annual countdown, he managed to crack the top-50 (No. 49), indicating he’s been worthy of making this list for a few years.
