With the 26th pick in the 2018 MLB Draft, the Boston Red Sox have selected Triston Casas a first baseman and third baseman from American Heritage School in Florida.
Casas is all about power. His best tool being his power which is graded at 55 on the 20-80 scale. In terms of raw power he is right up there with the best in the class. The only downside to his bat is there are a few holes in his swing. He projects to be a first baseman at the next level.

Casas has a strong commitment to the University of Miami, but Boston does not see that as a problem as they are confident they can get a deal done with Casas.
In the Boston system, Casas could be slotted in the 4-7 prospect range. He will be one of the better bats in the class right up there with current top prospect Michael Chavis.
