With the 22nd overall pick in the 2018 MLB Draft, the Colorado Rockies have Selected Ryan Rolison a left-handed pitcher out of the University of Mississippi.
Rolison is a draft-eligible sophomore and although his numbers are not tremendous this season he does have tremendous upside. He has 120 strikeouts in 97 1/3rd innings pitched. He is one of the most polished lefties in the draft.
Most scouts believe that Rolison has the best curveball in the draft among the college pitchers. It is a sharp breaker with power and depth. His fastball works in the low 90s and can hit 95 mph at times. He also mixes in a slider and a solid changeup.

Coming into a Colorado system that is always looking for good pitching talent in hopes to find that guy that can conquer Coors field.
Rolison immediately becomes the best left-handed pitcher in the Colorado system and come the midseason update, he could possibly be the best pitcher in the system in general.
