With the 20th overall pick in the 2018 MLB Draft, the Minnesota Twins have selected Trevor Larnach, an outfielder from Oregon State University.

Larnach has been a 2 year starter for the Beavers and has finished both seasons with batting averages above .300. This year the power has emerged with Larnach mashing 17 home runs in just 57 games this year. He is a guy that knows how to get on base. In 2018 he has a .452 on-base percentage which was aided by his 42 walks on the year.

Larnach was drafted in the 40th round by San Diego in the 2015 draft. He opted not to sign an honor his commitment to Oregon State.

Larnach fits well in the Minnesota system. While he is not going to be a top 100 guy he definitely is a top 6 prospect in the loaded Minnesota system. I definitely see Larnach being the everyday left fielder for Minnesota come the  202a seasons.
