Dez Bryant is still a free agent wide receiver. The former Dallas Cowboys’ vocal pass catcher’s name has been linked to the Cleveland Browns for the last few weeks.
Thursday night Bryant took to twitter to help speed up the process toward finding a new place to continue his career.
For real… I wouldn’t mind playing for the browns.. I just want to be right first https://t.co/svDXxKKYkg

The flamboyant wide receiver plans to make Cleveland his first stop. With Josh Gordon still away from camp for health reasons and Corey Coleman now a member of the Buffalo Bills, another veteran wide receiver is a need for a young Browns wide receiver group.
Starting my visits next week…I’m coming to the Land to see you Mr Dorsey

Bryant’s tweets took place before and during the Browns 20-10 victory over the New York Giants. Before the game, general manager John Dorsey spoke out about the former Cowboy. Dorsey told the media that Bryant has not returned his phone calls. Bryant tweeted out a different response.
I actually did talk with Mr Dorsey… take another L https://t.co/IcjgYZVeDN

Despite the opposing comments, its pretty clear that Dorsey and Bryant have a mutual interest in continuing the wide receiver’s career in orange and brown. An actual meeting date is still to be determined.
In 2017, Bryant caught 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns. He is a three-time NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver. He has not reached 1,000 yards receiving in a season since 2014.
The Browns are expected to bring in wide receivers for workouts next week.
Browns bringing in receivers to workout next week. Dez Bryant would be one of those receivers but he will not return phone calls from John Dorsey.
