Roster cuts have been made and teams have built there practice squads. The Arizona Cardinals released their preliminary 53-man roster on Saturday. However, the team made waiver claims and continued to build the team heading into week one of the regular season. Earlier we tried our hand at projecting who would make the team. Here is an update and listing of who made the cut and is heading towards opening day.

As the organization heads towards the regular season, time will tell what changes will happen as opening day approaches. The Cardinals have built a team they believe can compete for a playoff spot. As head coach Steve Wilks has said on multiple occasions, the team does not view this as a rebuild. Football is finally here.
