Last season saw Patriots quarterback Tom Brady take home his third MVP award after leading the league in passing. However, the curse of the MVP award held true as Brady and Patriots fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 52. (Who will play in Super Bowl 53? The Staff makes their picks.) The MVP of the league hasn’t won the award and the Super Bowl in the same season since Kurt Warner did it with the Rams in 1999.
However, it is a new year and a new chance for someone to break the curse. Will Brady win his fourth at 41? Does Aaron Rodgers add another to his shelf? Who will be the best offensive rookie?
