No Laughing Matter, Ha Ha to Redskins
The Washington Redskins have made a big splash during the trade deadline day by landing Safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
In the deal, the Redskins shipped over a fourth-rounder for Clinton-Dix. Talk about a steal.
Clinton-Dix is slated to be an unrestricted free agent after this season.
NFL Networks Ian Rapaport was the first to report the news:

Clinton-Dix was a first round pick in 2014 out of Alabama and grew up in Orlando, FL. He was a Pro Bowler and Second-team All Pro in 2016 with a career high of five interceptions.
Over four and a half years as a Packer, Haha has tallied three hundred tackles, five and a half sacks, and fourteen interceptions. Clinton-Dix will add depth to an already talented secondary and could potentially start alongside DJ Swearinger.
We will see what Defensive Coordinator Greg Manusky comes up with schematically to utilize Clinton-Dix, Swearinger, and Montae Nicholson.
It was believed that the Redskins might make a run at a receiver, or and offensive lineman, but in the end, they wanted to sure up their top-10 defense on the back end.
Ha Ha is the latest Alabama product to be acquired by the Redskins in recent years joining Da’Ron Payne and Jonathan Allen on defense.
