Kevin Love is expected to be out for the Cleveland Cavaliers till perhaps Christmas. The wine and gold power forward had successful surgery Friday in New York to deal with continued left foot symptoms.

In a release from the Cavaliers, there is no timetable for Love’s return. He is expected to miss the next six weeks.
Love has not played since October 24 against the Brooklyn Nets. In four games this season, Love leads the Cavaliers in scoring at 19 points per game. In addition, he is averaging a team best 13 and a half rebounds per game.
