After defeating the Packers on Sunday, the Patriots now are looking ahead to their matchup with the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. There are a select few that are on the injury report going into Sunday’s matchup that were on its last week.
Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski is continuing to deal with an ankle injury and a back injury that kept him out of the game against the Packers. His status for Sunday is still in question and possibly could come down to a coach’s decision. Gronkowski was limited in practice all week while recovering from the ankle and back injury. Reports surfaced early Saturday morning that Gronkowski was likely to be “out” for Sunday’s contest.
Linebacker Dont’a Hightower is also questionable, but it appears that he will sit out another week rehabbing a knee injury that has kept him sidelined for the past two weeks.
Another player who is questionable is running back Sony Michel who suffered a knee injury against the Bears in week 7, he could possibly play but may take a few more weeks to recover.
Some positive news is concerning running back Rex Burkhead because he is coming off the injured reserve. His return could happen during week thirteen when the Patriots play the Minnesota Vikings. Burkhead would become the second player from the Patriots this season to come off of the injured reserve list.
Other Players that are questionable for Sunday’s game include:
OL Trent Brown
TE Jacob Hollister
OL Shaq Mason
