The Arizona Cardinals (3-9) host the Detroit Lions (4-8) at State Farm Stadium at 4:25 PM ET.
The Lions managed to win just one of the last five games while the Cardinals managed two wins during the same span.
Offensively, the Lions need a strong performance from Kenny Golladay. The Lions have yet to find success offensively after trading Golden Tate and losing Marvin Jones who has been dealing with a bone bruise in his knee. However, Golladay has been a key piece to the puzzle all season. Golladay has made a lot of impressive plays for the offense recently which has not gone unnoticed.
Defensively, defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson. Robinson has been a consistent aspect of the Lions defensive line alongside Damon Harrison. Robinson’s ability to address the run game and effectively disrupt opposing offenses has been quite impressive during his two-year career. Robinson has quite the knack for making tackles in the backfield which has been a huge component for the Lions.
The Lions’ dark horse will be cornerback Mike Ford.
Offensively, the Cardinals need a big game from talented running back David Johnson. Last season, Johnson got injured against the Lions and will look to bounce back this time around. The versatility that Johnson showcases has been quite impressive in both the running and receiving game. Johnson is a strong running back who can fight for extra yardage and break multiple tackles.
Defensively, outside linebacker Chandler Jones has been quite impressive this season for Arizona. Jones is extremely talented and has a true ability to finding his way into the backfield to record a sack. The veteran linebacker currently has 12 sacks on the season and the number will only rise going forward.
The Cardinals’ dark horse will be receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald is one of the all-time greats when it comes to receivers in the league. He has the catch radius to make impressive plays not only in traffic but also downfield.
