What a huge win for the Cleveland Browns in week 14 to keep their playoff hopes alive. For the most part they likely did the same to help keep your fantasy playoff hopes alive as well. We now band together to go up against an interesting Denver Broncos defense on Saturday night. Yours truly will be at the game to help bring some added Browns love on the road. This is a huge week for fantasy as a win here gets us likely into our fantasy championships and if the Browns pull off a win on Saturday keep their playoff hopes alive.
Quarterback: Baker Mayfield – Start
NFL wise last week Baker Mayfield had a phenomenal game. He looked lights out at times fitting balls into tight windows all over the field. However, for fantasy he came up short in a crazy week for the QB position finishing with 13 points. Finishing just outside the top 20 likely didn’t help you much but he is now going up against a depleted Broncos secondary. In the back half of the 20’s against the pass, Baker should be able to shred this defense in a crucial game for the Browns.
Running backs: Nick Chubb – Start, Duke Johnson Jr. – Sit
Nick Chubb was amazing again against the Panthers last week and put up a great effort again last week with 16 points. He now goes up against a Denver Broncos defense that was getting gashed against the run earlier in the season. However, in the last 6 weeks, they have given up the 5th fewest yards per carrying. That is great news though for Chubb as per Next Gen stats he ranks third against stacked boxes in the NFL. Chubb is going to have another game-winning week for you this week.
Wide receivers: Jarvis Landry – Start, Antonio Callaway – Start, Rashard Higgins – Sit, Breshad Perriman – Sit
Jarvis Landry has had two great weeks in a row and looks to be returning to form and reminding us what he once was. With Chris Harris out now the Broncos don’t have a top corner back to keep up with Jarvis he should be targeted early and often in this game.
Antonio Callaway is going to be the deep threat again in this one. He should have had the deep ball that went to Breshad Perriman last week. Again with a weak secondary I think Callaway balls out in this game with a long touchdown.
Tight end: David Njoku – Start
I know you must be thinking but David Njoku has been so bad. He has the talent and should be able to produce. I have him ranked as my 15th tight end on the week. So chances are you don’t have a better option on the week.
Cleveland Browns Defense – Start
Denver is down to their third and fourth string wide receivers. They have had multiple injuries to their offensive line. Cleveland is second in the league in turnovers and they should be able to sack and turnover Case Keenum.
