Who knew that this game would be decided by a failed two point conversion in the first half? The Buffalo Bills improve to 5-9 on the season with a victory over the Detroit Lions. In a low scoring affair, it was the Bills who won all three phases of the game.
Josh Allen finished the game with 204 passing yards and two scores with one of them being on his legs. Without LeSean McCoy, Chris Ivory and losing Marcus Murphy in the game, all eyes looked at Allen for some type of hope and Allen pulled through.
The defense and special teams stepped up in the second half, not allowing a single score from the Lions and put continuous pressure on Matt Stafford. One player who looked rough for the Bills was Tre’Davious White. Causing two penalties in the first quarter and was being controlled by Lions receiver Kenny Galloway.
Allen had a beautiful touchdown pass to Robert Foster in the fourth quarter that would eventually end up as the game winning score.
The Bills have two games left on the regular season and will travel to none other than Massachusetts to take on the New England Patriots next weekend.
