Presidential candidate takes aim at Daniel Snyder’s new toy
Redskins owner Daniel Snyder’s new $100 million yacht has caught the attention of more than Washington Redskins fans.
Massachusetts Senator, and 2020 Democratic Presidential candidate, Elizabeth Warren has taken notice of it as well. And this new purchase has become the poster child of her new proposed tax law.
Already with the slim potential of being caught up in a pay for play donation to President Trump’s inaugural committee, this is not the type of attention Mr. Snyder should want.

This new $100 million purchase will also not sit well with state and local officials during stadium negotiations. Mr. Snyder will not be taken seriously when he goes with an empty cap asking for hundreds of millions of dollars in subsidies. Mr. Snyder may even be laughed out of some offices with officials telling him that if he can afford a yacht, he can afford to pay for most of the stadium.
Mr. Snyder has already alienated the Richmond City Council for duping them into paying for the training camp facility with not return on investment. Word has been getting around Richmond and Annapolis about how that deal went down.
However, as we have seen for nearly 20 years, Mr. Snyder does not care what outsiders, let along fans, think. So why should a Presidential candidate bother him?
