Assessment

KNOXVILLE, TN – NOVEMBER 17: Missouri Tigers quarterback Drew Lock (3) throwing a pass during a college football game between the Tennessee Volunteers and Missouri Tigers on November 17, 2018, at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, TN. (Photo by Bryan Lynn/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images)

Arm Talent: Naturally gifted with his arm talent. Excellent strength, can throw the ball to pretty much any point on the field. 18/20.

Accuracy: Has the ability to throw the ball through any window. When he is hot, he is unstoppable. When he’s not… it’s not good. Very inconsistent. 14/18.

Field Vision: Tends to see the field pretty well. Has gotten better through his career at going through his progressions. Doesn’t miss many open throws. 14/15.

Release: Good release, ball comes out quickly and he doesn’t have to plant. Release point is a little too low, allows passes to be batted down at the line of scrimmage. 12/15.

Pocket Movement: Footwork is atrocious. Horribly inconsistent and tends to sit there flat-footed. Doesn’t seem to have a good feel for the pocket around him. 5/12.

Mobility: Very mobile quarterback. Extremely capable of stepping up and getting a good gain on a run play. 9/10.

Leadership: Unquestioned leader on this team, and has been since he was a sophomore. Good leader with good attitude and a never quit mentality. 8/10.

Overall: Capable of huge things at the next level, Lock has to improve his footwork and learn to make better decisions. Lock is a hell of an athlete and can be a mid tier starting quarterback at some point in his career. 80/100.

Personality Assessment:

Very impressive personality. Oozes passion for the game and confidence. Seems very mature. (+3)
