Buffalo Bills: Sean McDermott 15-17 6-10 Missed Playoffs

The Buffalo Bills are rebuilding but after making the playoffs in 2017 they weren’t expected to do anything this season. There were many doubters in Josh Allen but he proved that he could work with very little. He effectively ran the ball because his best wide receiver was Zay Jones. They were very good at defending the pass, top-ranked in the NFL, and second overall in yards per game. McDermott has been very successful for a long time struggling franchise. He will likely be around for a few more seasons to help develop Allen and the defense. They just have to deal with the Patriots for possibly an eternity.

Miami Dolphins: Adam Gase- 23-25 7-9 FIRED

Adam Gase has been fired. He hasn’t gone far, he and his crazy eyes were almost immediately hired by the Jets. Gase may have gone too far and burned some bridges in the front office. He traded Jarvis Landry and Jay Ajayi, two players who were keys of their offense. They didn’t have Ryan Tannehill for extend periods over his past two seasons but he likely won’t be there for the foreseeable future. The Dolphins are going to be rebuilding and they are going to do it with Brian Flores from the New England Patriots. The AFC East just seems to cycle coaches around lately, while one team remains on top.

New York Jets: Todd Bowles 24-40 4-12 FIRED

The New York Jets are not in a market where you can rebuild. In his first season, he went 10-6 and it was all downhill from there. They drafted a rookie quarterback last season but there were issues all over the place which led to his removal. He’s a defensive minded coach but seemed like he had too much on his plate especially in New York. As stated earlier he was replaced by Adam Gase but he found a job on Bruce Arians staff. He’s back comfortably as a defensive coordinator where he can focus on his strengths. While Bowles struggled as a head coach he’s back with his friends where he could succeed exponentially as a coordinator.

New England Patriots: Bill Belichick 225-79 11-5 Won Super Bowl

19 seasons, 9 Super Bowl Appearances, 6 Wins. Enough said.

Fun fact, last time he went 11-5 and won the Super Bowl, the Buccaneers won it all the next season.
