Why we are doing this

“My daughter goes to the hospital “Duke Children’s University” and receives treatment there. I met David and Lisa ” Abby’s parents” and saw how their charity helped kids like my daughter. They help make the hospital a easier stay for kids that come. From video games, activities, to small gifts of love they are there to help.”

  • Chris Bryant, Hog Farmer (@chrisdbryant1)

“For me it’s seeing first hand how they bring smiles to the kids faces. Knowing Amiyah is what made me notice how important Abby’s Army is to kids.”

  • Eric, Hog Farmer (@DEERSnBEERS)

“For me, it’s their dedication to supporting families and their children affected and fighting pediatric cancer.  I’ve been blessed with five healthy children. But, knowing that if something were to arise, foundations like Abby’s Army are there to uplift them and keep their spirits high. If it wasn’t for Amiyah, I wouldn’t have even known about Abby’s Army and Amiyah is important to us.  Knowing that Abby’s Army has helped her, and the Bryant family, is more than enough to support them.”

  • Jeff, Hog Farmer (@TheRealGingerB1)

The work that they do to help children with conditions that are unimaginable is spectacular.  Abby’s Army came to light when our good friend Chris Bryant’s daughter was going through the same process. His ability to become a leader and a father through this process is amazing. All along with a smile on his face through every trial they faced and all the hard times, they fought through it as a team! We didn’t understand everything that he was going through but we are here to support the Bryant Family and Abby’s Army to continue to help children in need selflessly and with courage.

  • Lets Talk Redskins (@LetsTalkSkins)

Washington Redskins Running Back, Chris Thompson, wore Abby’s Army cleats during the December 9th game against the New York Giants.  You can read and watch more here, at Redskins.com, about why Chris chose Abby’s Army.

We would like to thank The G.O.A.T. for graciously opening their doors to us so we can have this opportunity.
