Cleveland has a need for a run stopping and pass rushing defensive tackle. The deal becomes official when the new league year begins Wednesday afternoon.

Richardson will line up opposite Larry Ogunjobi in the middle of the defensive line for new coordinator Steve Wilks. Richardson and former New York Giants linebacker Olivier Vernon will add much needed pass rush to go along with Myles Garrett.

Terms of the contract are conflicting. Richardson will be joining his fourth different team. The 28-year old previously played for the Seattle Seahawks, the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings.
