With the 24th Overall pick, the Oakland Raiders selected Josh Jacobs out of Alabama. The former Tide back brings the ability to serve as a three-down back. Hen Marshawn Lynch retired, the hole left needed filling. In Jacobs, they employ their centerpiece of the rushing attack. With Richard, Warren, and Crowell, Oakland filled out the backfield.

Question.

With so many backs available later, why burn a first-rounder?
