WWE Q1 Numbers Released
The first quarter financial numbers for WWE have been released. Some interesting notes from the numbers include a net loss of $8.4 million and a decrease of revenue from the same quarter last year by $5.3 million. North American live event attendance dropped 11% from last year. Raw and SmackDown Live ratings are also down 14% and 13%. The WWE Network hit two million subscribers on the day after Wrestlemania 35.

Lio Rush Backstage Heat
Lio Rush is apparently in hot water backstage once again. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t to CagesideSeats.com), Rush “can rub people the wrong way”. The “Man of the Hour” took to twitter to respond to the reports.

Dean Malenko Leaves WWE
Sports Illustrated reported that backstage producer Dean Malenko has left the WWE. Malenko had been with WWE for eight years in his backstage role. He had previously been a wrestler with the company from 2000 to 2001. Malenko is also well known for his work in Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling. No reason was made public for his departure from WWE.
