The Washington Redskins were not the only one’s who were winners on night one of the NFL Draft.
The Hog Farmers, Let’s Talk Redskins, and FPC Redskins held a fundraiser to benefit Abby’s Army. Abby’s Army is a nonprofit that helps children with pediatric cancer be able to act like children during treatment. The event was held at The G.O.A.T. in Clarendon, VA.
Unique items were available during an online raffle on the lead up to the event and then raffle tickets were available during the event. In addition, attendees to the event and patrons of The G.O.A.T. were able to buy wristbands for $10 for an extended happy hour.
Also, in attendance was NBC Sports Washington to cover the event and get quotes from fans in real time to reaction of the Redskins 15th overall pick Dwayne Haskins.
