Chris Jericho Returning to NJPW
One of AEW’s biggest names is returning to New Japan. Chris Jericho appeared at NJPW’s Wrestling Dontaku on Saturday via video message to challenge IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada. Okada accepted, and the two will meet at Dominion on June 9th (h/t SEScoops).
Jericho called himself the “Painmaker” and will bring it to the Rainmaker when they meet on June 9th. The AEW star was very busy this weekend, also showing up at a Southern Honor Wrestling event on Friday night. He was thwarted by fellow AEW star Kenny Omega, and both were surprise appearances.
