Silver King Passes Away
The wrestling world is mourning the loss of Silver King, who died during in the ring in a match in London, England. Silver King was wrestling Juventud Guerrera when he suffered an apparent heart attack. He was 51 years old.

Silver King was a giant of the Lucha Libre scene in Mexico. Wrestling primarily for CMLL, he was a two-time tag team champion and one time world champion for CMLL. CagesideSeats has a roundup of the wrestling world saying goodbye and paying their respects to Silver King.
Austin Aries to MLW
Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Austin Aries is heading to Major League Wrestling. A tweet posted by MLW (h/t WrestlingInc) indicates that Aries will be joining the company.

Aries has had lots of success in TNA/Impact. He’s a former Grand Champion, World Champion, X Division Champion and Tag Team Champion with the company.

WWE announced some upcoming segments for Raw and SmackDown this week from England.

On Raw, a double contract signing will take place with Becky Lynch, Lacey Evans and Charlotte. The official WWE preview also lists Roman Reigns returning for MizTV, and a fatal four-way between Raw’s women’s Money in the Bank match participants. Ricochet versus Baron Corbin, and Braun Strowman facing Drew McIntyre round out the announcements.
For SmackDown Live, (h/t PWInsider) the men’s Money in the Bank participants will be in a fatal four-way. Kofi Kingston will be on the Kevin Owens show before their battle at Money in the Bank. Finally, Asuka and Kairi Sane will take on Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville.
