Money in the Bank 2019 is upon us. Ryan and Evan take a look at all the matches on the card and give their predictions. Who will win the Money in the Bank briefcases? Will Becky Lynch defend both of her titles? Let’s break down the entire card for Sunday.

WWE.com

WWE Universal Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs A.J. Styles

Ryan: Going with Seth here. He’s the guy who is going to carry the banner for the WWE. The fans are behind him. This should be a fun match to watch.
Pick – Seth Rollins

Ottawa Senators First Game in 310 Days is a Win

January 16, 2021

Evan: It’s going to be a great match. I think Rollins will retain, and hopefully it will spell the beginning of a full-on heel A.J. Styles again. Reunite him with the Club, please!
Pick – Seth Rollins

WWE.com

WWE Championship: Kofi Kingston (c) vs Kevin Owens

Ryan: It seems far too soon to have Kofi drop the title. Besides, this program has done wonders to legitimize him as a serious character. I wouldn’t be too surprised if KO comes out on top, but somehow, Kofi is going to win this match.
Pick – Kofi Kingston

Evan: Believe in the Power of Positivity! It seems far too early to end the best story of the year.
Pick – Kofi Kingston

WWE.com

WWE Raw Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs Lacey Evans

Ryan: It’s nice to see someone new in the women’s title picture, but I don’t see Evans as a viable challenger right now. This may test Becky’s ability to really put on a quality match with someone I don’t consider to be a high-level talent.
Pick – Becky Lynch

Evan: The feud between Evans-Lynch is fresher, and is better suited to go longer than her one with Charlotte. For that, “The Man” retains.
Pick – Becky Lynch

WWE.com

WWE SmackDown Live Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs Charlotte

Ryan: Turnabout is fair play and it would be fitting for Charlotte to regain the Smackdown strap in a triple threat match. However, I don’t want this to be the case, as I want the winner of the MITB contract to at least have the intrigue of holding that for some time. A fake cash-in leading to Charlotte taking advantage would be ideal.
Pick – Charlotte

Evan: Time for Charlotte to be a nine-time champ. With Charlotte winning, her and Lynch can be separated by brands and there can be distinct feuds on both shows.
Pick – Charlotte

WWE.com

Men’s Money in the Bank Match: Ricochet vs Drew McIntyre vs Sami Zayn vs Baron Corbin vs Andrade vs Ali vs Randy Orton vs Finn Balor

Ryan: This one stumps me the most. With the current champions, I don’t see an immediate cash-in. That said, it makes sense to position Drew as the man chasing after Rollins. McIntyre is the guy here. That is going to be such a fun program.
Pick – Drew McIntyre

Evan: It’s time for El Idolo to get vaulted to the main event scene. He’s been killing it recently, and having Zelina Vega talk big talk while Andrade takes care of business in the ring would be great television.
Pick – Andrade

WWE.com

Women’s Money in the Bank Match: Naomi vs Natalya vs Nikki Cross vs Dana Brooke vs Bayley vs Carmella vs Mandy Rose vs Ember Moon

Ryan: With Alexa out, this changes quite a bit. But, could we please get a legit Bayley/Charlotte program? It’s time to let Bayley really go against Charlotte and battle for the main title. Let Bayley be the one who constantly messes with Charlotte and eventually climbs the mountain. I don’t think I need to state my pick..right?
Pick – Bayley

Evan: This match feels like a crapshoot. Let’s bank on two sneaky heels getting briefcases this time around.
Pick – Mandy Rose

WWE.com

Roman Reigns vs Elias

Ryan:  Elias needs to win this match. It’d be interesting to see how the Shane/Miz saga impacts the match. I’m picking Elias with some distractions.
Pick – Elias

Evan: Reigns hasn’t lost one-on-one in over 300 days. So clearly my pick here is… Elias.
Pick – Elias

WWE.com

Shane McMahon vs Miz (Steel Cage Match)

Ryan: This needs to be the end of the feud. It’s been fun at times, but this is near the end and Miz needs the win. Shane can go back to being a thorn in Roman’s side. Hopefully we get a Mr. Miz appearance and it costs Shane.
Pick – Miz

Evan: It’s time for Miz to vanquish his McDemons and move on to a new feud. Winning this will be big for Miz, as Shane is one of the best pure heels in WWE right now.
Pick – Miz

WWE.com

United States Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs Rey Mysterio

Ryan: This has been a pleasant surprise. Joe continues to look like a monster while Mysterio some how finds ways to flummox the champ. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Mysterio take the title and go on a summer run. However, the obvious choice feels like Joe here.
Pick – Samoa Joe

Evan: This should be the sequel to the Wrestlemania match these two had. It will be a bit longer, but with the same result.
Pick – Samoa Joe

WWE.com

Cruiserweight Championship: Tony Nese vs Ariya Daivari

Ryan: These two will put on a fun match. The guys from 205 Live always do. Daivari has been getting more screen time leading up to the weekend, but Nese just makes sense as champion. Hopefully this starts a multi-month feud. For now, Nese retains.
Pick – Tony Nese

Evan: The champ will retain. I, like a lot of people, should watch 205 Live a lot more.
Pick – Tony Nese

WWE.com

Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs The Usos

Ryan: The Usos are on Raw. this is for the Smackdown belt. This should be a fun match, but it would make zero sense for Jimmy and Jay to win. Hopefully Rowan gets major time in the match, he’s the only one who really needs it out of the bunch.
Pick – Bryan & Rowan

Evan: On the pre-show, WWE might want to give us a feel good moment. But Bryan and Rowan need to be established as tag champs here, and the Usos can eat a loss. Big Time Recycling takes this one.
Pick – Bryan & Rowan

Not a ton of differences between Ryan & Evan’s picks, only differing on the wide open Money in the Bank matches. Who do you have winning on Sunday night? Let us know by adding your predictions in the Talkamania forum. You can check it out here.
