The Atlanta Falcons announced on Wednesday that Steven Means has suffered an Achilles injury. The defensive end will miss the 2019 season as he begins his road to recovery.
Means, 28, who signed with the Falcons in 2018 after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles. Steven Means was able to make an immediate impact while he played in 8 games for the Falcons last season. In those games, Means tallied four starts; 14 tackles, and one sack.
Means has played for four teams in his five-year career. Tallying over half of his career production with the Falcons. It looked as if he was at the beginning of his rise in Atlanta; unfortunately, 2019 will come to an abrupt end.
