Moxley will be making his debut on the June 5th Best of the Super Juniors finals show. He’s the mystery challenger for Juice Robinson’s United States Championship that NJPW has promoted for a while. Moxley is signed full-time to AEW, but has a contract that allows him to work international and indy dates as well.
Mike & Maria Kanellis’ Contracts Expiring?
A tweet from Maria Kanellis has lead to speculation around her and her husband Mike’s futures in WWE. On Monday, Maria tweeted that their contracts were up in three weeks.

Maria & Mike Kanellis have been with WWE since debuting at Money in the Bank 2017. There were reports in January that the couple had asked for their release, but that was refuted at the time. As of now, both appear on 205 Live where Mike competes and Maria manages him.

Road Dogg Working Full Time in NXT
WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg Jesse James is working full time with NXT. James had been a head writer for SmackDown Live for some time before stepping down last month. According to PWInsider, he’s now moved to NXT full-time in an unknown role.
James was apparently frustrated with scripts for SmackDown Live being rewritten last minute, leading to his stepping down. James’s former tag team partner Billy Gunn has signed on with All Elite Wrestling as a coach. WWE likely wanted to appease James with a new role instead of risking losing him to AEW as well.
Joey Ryan Turns Down AEW
According to SoCal Uncensored, Joey Ryan will not be joining AEW as some predicted. Ryan had been rumored to be on the way to All Elite Wrestling once he announced his “Farewell to the Indies” tour. This was believed because of his heavy involvement in the build-up to All In last year.
Ryan has also drawn interest from WWE. It’s reported that WWE has offered Ryan a spot in NXT that would develop into a coaching spot in a few years. As one of the most popular indy acts out there, it is interesting to speculate where Ryan will end up. He’ll be making an announcement on May 30 at Bar Wrestling in regards to his future.
A.J. Styles Taking Time Off
According to CagesideSeats, there is speculation that A.J. Styles will be taking some time off soon. He isn’t scheduled for shows over the next month, with the exception of Super Showdown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. On Raw, WWE ran an injury angle for Styles. He claimed to have been hurt by Baron Corbin, and then was attacked by Corbin backstage.
