Goldberg Announced for SmackDown Live

Wrestling legend Goldberg will be on SmackDown Live this Tuesday. Ahead of his match at Super ShowDown against the Undertaker, Goldberg will return to WWE. The company announced Goldberg will make his first ever appearance on SmackDown Live this week.

Undertaker, Goldberg’s opponent at Super ShowDown, is scheduled to be on Raw. Goldberg hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring since the night after Wrestlemania 33. In his last match Goldberg lost to Brock Lesnar.

Sasha Banks Posts Interesting Tweet

A tweet posted by Sasha Banks has added to the drama around the star’s situation with WWE (h/t WrestlingInc). Banks hasn’t been on television since the Wrestlemania 35. The tweet references some Kendrick Lamar lyrics. Those lyrics seem pertinent to Banks’ unhappiness with the company.

Banks’ status with the company has been rocky since she allegedly tried to quit during Wrestlemania 35 weekend. That weekend she and Bayley dropped the Women’s Tag Team Championships to the IIconics. She was given some time off from the company. This  included missing a scheduled appearance on the Wendy Williams Show.

AEW World Title Match Date Announced

The All Elite Wrestling Heavyweight Championship will be decided in August. It was mentioned on Busted Open Radio (h/t 24Wrestling) by Chris Jericho that the title will be decided at All Out. AEW’s next pay-per-view will happen August 31st at the Sears Centre Arena near Chicago.

The match will be between Jericho and Adam Page. Jericho earned his spot by defeating Kenny Omega in the All In main event. Page won his spot by winning the Casino Battle Royale at the same event. The two will battle for the first-ever title.
