Jon Moxley Wins IWGP Gold
In his first match in New Japan, Jon Moxley has won the IWGP United States Championship. He beat Juice Robinson at the Best of the Super Juniors final in a hard fought contest. The match marked the debut of Moxley in Japan after spending the last eight years with WWE. Now wearing trunks, Moxley also debuted a new finisher named “Death Rider.” Check it out in the tweet below:
Moxley recently made his debut for AEW at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas. His first match for AEW is scheduled for Fyter Fest on June 29th. Moxley will face off against “Bad Boy” Joey Janela in what is sure to be an electric brawl.
Mickie James Undergoing Surgery
WWE Superstar Mickie James is undergoing knee surgery. The star confirmed the injury on her instagram and there is no timetable for her return. In details gathered by WrestlingInc, James injured her knee in a house show match Saturday against Carmella. The match was ended abruptly and she was taken to the back alongside a trainer.
James’ injury is an ACL injury, and she stated she’ll be out “for a while”. Best of luck to Mickie James on a speedy and effective recovery.

Two Female WWE Stars in Saudi Arabia
WWE embarks for Saudi Arabia for Super ShowDown this week with two female stars in tow. PWInsider is reporting that both Natalya and Alexa Bliss are headed to Saudi Arabia. There is no word on if the two are scheduled for a match at the show. As of now, there has been no announcement of a match for the two.
Renee Young is also scheduled for the event. She was on commentary at the last Saudi Arabia show in November 2018.
