Rusev’s Contract Expiring Soon?

The Bulgarian Brute Rusev’s contract with WWE is said to expire soon. Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t WrestlingInc) that his contract expires relatively soon. It is not known if Rusev will re-sign with WWE or not.

Rusev has not been on WWE television since Super ShowDown earlier in June. It was reported that he requested some time off, but Rusev seemingly shot back at that on Twitter.

Rusev, 33 years old, has been on the WWE main roster since 2014.

Terri Runnels Gun Charges Dropped

Former WWE star Terri Runnels is in the clear after being arrested on gun charges in May. Runnels will not face any jail time as charges have been dropped, according to TMZ Sports.

Runnels was found to have the gun in her possession at the Tampa International Airport. She claimed it was an honest mistake, as she had forgotten to take the gun out of her bag after dealing with an armadillo at her mother’s house. Runnels is now in the clear after clearing up the situation.
