WWE Trying To Court Teenage Demographic
The edgier product from WWE recently is in an effort to get teenage viewers to stay. According to Dave Meltzer (h/t WrestlingInc) WWE is concerned about the teenage demographic switching to watching AEW. This has lead to a move away from PG this week. WWE had Corey Graves say “holy shit”, and had Kofi Kingston give Samoa Joe the middle finger.
Meltzer also explained that Ricochet is in line for a push due to this shift. WWE feels he is a marketable star to the teenage audience and is due for an extended push. Ricochet is currently the United States Champion.
Six Man Tag Added to Fight For The Fallen
Another match has been added to AEW’s Fight for the Fallen. In the latest episode of Road to Fight For The Fallen, a six man tag match was announced. It will pit Joey Janela, Darby Allin, & Jimmy Havoc against MJF, Sammy Guevera, & Shawn Spears.
The rest of the Fight for the Fallen card looks like this:
- Cody & Dustin Rhodes vs The Young Bucks
- Brandi Rhodes vs Allie
- Kenny Omega vs CIMA
- Adam Page vs Kip Sabian
