Perro Aguayo Passes Away
Legendary Mexican wrestler Perro Aguayo has passed away at the age of 73. One of the biggest names in Mexican wrestling, Aguayo had a storied career spanning decades. He was the first-ever WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, though WWF does not recognize any of his reigns since they came before the 1997 tournament for the title. Aguayo was one of the founders of AAA in the 1990s and worked in CMLL in the 2000s before retiring in 2007.
Perro Aguayo Sr. just passed away. There are only a handful of men in history who drew more fans during their career and one of the hardest working and most charismatic wrestlers ever.

Perro Aguayo’s son, Perro Aguayo Jr., passed away during a match against Rey Mysterio in 2015. Condolences to all of Perro Aguayo’s family, friends, and fans.
