Undertaker Not Scheduled for Summerslam

The Deadman may not have a space on the Summerslam card. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t CagesideSeats), Undertaker is currently not scheduled to be on the show. Previously he had been advertised locally to be facing Drew McIntyre at the show.

It is strange that Undertaker’s match appears to be off. He appeared at Extreme Rules alongside Roman Reigns against McIntyre and Shane McMahon. Undertaker looked good in that matchup as well. Now it appears WWE has changed their mind on an Undertaker-McIntyre matchup.

Dominik Dijakovic Returns From Injury

At an NXT Live Event this weekend Dominik Dijakovic returned to action (h/t WrestlingInc). In April Dijakovic suffered a torn meniscus in a match. After surgery in May, he was expected to miss three months but has come back ahead of schedule. Last night he beat Cesar Bonini in Cocoa, Florida.

Dijakovic had previously been gunning for Velveteen Dream’s NXT Championship. No word yet on if he will continue that pursuit.

Impact & ROH Taping Spoilers

Both Impact and Ring of Honor held tapings over the weekend with newsworthy happenings (h/t WrestlingInc). Spoilers ahead, so if you don’t want those stop reading here.

On Impact, Rhyno officially returned to the company. Rhyno had previously appeared under a mask at Slammiversary, attacking Michael Elgin. At the taping, Rhyno had a match defeating Joe Singh. It looks as though the former ECW Champion will be feuding with Elgin in his first program back in Impact.

At ROH’s tapings, new Tag Team Champions were crowned. The Briscoes are once again Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions. They defeated Guerillas of Destiny in a Street Fight to win the titles. Jay & Mark Briscoe are now both 11-time ROH Tag Team Champions.
