WWE Return to Saudi Arabia Date Change
The next WWE-Saudi Arabia show apparently has it’s date. WWE will return to the country on Friday, November 1st according to Dave Meltzer (h/t WrestlingInc). The timing of the show is curious due to WWE’s new deal with Fox. WWE will now have the Saudi Arabia show in the afternoon, with a live SmackDown broadcasting that evening. No formal name or announcement has been given for the show.
WWE Second Quarter Earnings Report
Reports from WWE’s second quarter earning calls are a mixed bag (h/t WrestlingInc). While stock prices and profits were up this quarter compared to last, lots of areas are down from last year.

Live attendance, television ratings, merchandise sales, and WWE Network subscribers are all down. The drops are significant from last year at this time to now. They include 14% drops in Raw ratings and 11% drops in SmackDown ratings. In spite of this, WWE continues to be massively profitable. This is partly due to their shows in Saudi Arabia.
