The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.
NXT Moving to USA Network?
The biggest news of the weekend is a report that NXT will be moving to the USA Network. PWInsider is reporting (h/t WrestlingInc) that the plan is to move NXT to two hours long, airing live on USA network. Another pitch has been for NXT to alternate live and taped episodes week to week.
This would put NXT in direct competition to AEW’s show on TNT. With SmackDown Live moving to Fox in October, this would give USA another night of WWE programming.
FS1 was also an option for NXT. However, FS1’s commitment to Big East College Basketball has made USA a more viable home as it won’t be preempted as often. An announcement on NXT’s future is expected as early as this week.
