Ali-Nakamura Feud Dropped?

Before Summerslam, Ali seemed to be the next rival for Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. The feud was teased in backstage interactions between the two. Ali even defeated Nakamura in a non-title match. It appears now the feud has been dropped. Ali responded to a fan asking about the feud on Twitter:

Both men now have new directions. Nakamura aligned with Sami Zayn on SmackDown Live this week. Ali is active in the King of the Ring tournament, facing Buddy Murphy next week. While they did have one title match at Smackville, it seems the feud is all but dead now.
