Recovery will take less than the tome of Hunt’s suspension.
The league handed down the eight game suspension for his role in attacking a women at a downtown Cleveland hotel. The incident was caught on tape in February, 2018. The video was released by TMJ in November of last year. Hunt’s former team, the Kansas City Chiefs released him just days after the video’s release.
The Browns signed Hunt to a one year contract during the offseason. General manager John Dorsey elected to give the running back a second chance with plenty of restrictions. Dorsey drafted Hunt in 2017 while as the general manager of the Chiefs.
Hunt has appeared in the Browns last two preseason games.
Kareem will be able to return in time for the week ten game at FirstEnergy Stadium against the Buffalo Bills on November 10. Cleveland’s bye week is in week seven of the season. Hunt will miss games against the Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and Denver Broncos.
