Alright fantasy fans, for those of you who are just diving into Daily Fantasy Sports, here is the quick rundown. DFS contests provide you with a salary cap and prices on every player. The trick is to try and find some budget options in order to get the prime players. This article is going to talk about those DFS guys that will get you the points you need to compliment the big-budget players. So, here are the best DFS values Week 2, the cheaper options with major upside.
When I am talking about the Best DFS values I am talking Fan Duel and Draft Kings.
Josh Allen | BUF | FD $7.500 | DK $5.300
I like this because Josh Allen is primed for a massive bounce-back week against the Giants. Dak Prescott was able to cut up the Giants defense for massive fantasy points. With Allen digging deep and fighting hard against the other New York he managed to execute an impressive comeback. Because of his rushing ability, Allen is looking like a breakout candidate for this week.
Tom Brady | NE | FD $7.800 | DK $6.400
A little bit of the pricier option but Tom Brady is going against the dreadfull Dolphins defense. Because of that, I am willing to throw a few extra bucks at him. Lamar Jackson was able to cut up this defense and he is a second-year quarterback. Brady is a 20-year veteran with a Super Bowl-winning offense, if this isn’t a viable stream now then I will never know what is.
Devin Singletary | BUF | FD $5.700 | DK $4.200
Devin Singletary had an efficient game as he rushed 4 times for 70 yards and was targeted 6 times for 28 yards. He scored 14.8 PPR points on just a handful of touches. Even though Frank Gore started the game, Singletary looks like the better back. Going up against the Giants, this could be the game that the rookie begins to establish himself as the lead dog.

Giovanni Bernard | CIN | FD $5.700 | DK $5.300
Giovani Bernard is more boom or bust with Joe Mixon dealing with an injury. When Mixon was out Bernard had a huge target share and was the go-to in the run game which is a huge plus and since they are facing a run relax defense it feels like Bernard can have a huge day. Monitor this situation closely.
Julian Edelman | NE | FD $7.100 | DK $6.900
Jakobi Meyers | NE | $4.500 | DK $3.000
Again, Patriots vs Miami Defense. I like Brady to win this and the biggest winner of his target share is Julian Edelman. With Jakobi Meyers, in a potential blowout, such as this, he could see the field more often and get a bigger piece of the target share pie. Keep an eye on him.
John Ross | CIN | FD $6.400 | DK $4.600
I like John Ross in this matchup. With A.J. Green still out, someone needs to catch passes after Dalton dropped 418 passing yards on the Seattle Seahawks. Ross’ role as a deep threat means that he does not need an abundance of targets to produce massive fantasy totals. Since coming into the league after posting the fastest 40-time, Ross has been nothing but a disappointment and with games like last week, it can be his comeback year so expect more from this young man.
Mark Andrews | BAL | FD $6.100 | DK $3.800
Good talent with a good quarterback under center against a defense that has allowed some of the more yards to tight ends. Rookie T.J. Hockenson is the biggest example from last week. Expect Mark Andrews to continue to lead the Ravens in targets, at least for another game.
Evan Engram | NYG FD $6.400 | DK $5.200
Even with Eli Manning under center, Evan Engram is still one of the better tight ends in the league. While the Buffalo defense is good the place to exploit them is over the middle with a big-bodies tight end.
