The Buffalo Bills are finally back in Orchard Park this Sunday as they play host of the Cincinnati Bengals in their home opener. While there will be lots of excitement running through the stadium, the Bills will be playing at the stadium without the attendance of one of their most loyal fans’, Ezra ‘Pancho Billa’ Castro, who lost his battle with cancer this past May.
Castros’ girlfriend and children will be attending the game as they stand in honor of Castro in front of the home crowd.
Back in 2018, former Bills’s players Fred Jackson and Andre Reed recognized Castro and brought him on the stage to announce the Bills third round pick, who ended up being defensive tackle Harrison Phillips. Since that moment, Phillips and Castro formed a friendship off the field.
A Bills fan through-and-through, and an inspiration to us all.

Castro was an optimistic fan who always “billieved” in the Bills and “trusted the process”. Fighting through a battle that can be exhausting did not bring Castro down once. He was always seen smiling and representing the Bills. Even though he is not with us anymore physically, he will always be apart of the Bills family.
The memorial ceremony will take place before the game. Make sure to take a look into it. From Full Press Coverage, we continue to send our thoughts to the family of Pancho.
