Raw and SmackDown Getting New Stages?

With the hard brand split coming back, WWE is entering a new era. That new era could lead to new stages. WrestleVotes is claiming on Twitter that after this week, both Raw and SmackDown will have new stages (h/t WrestlingInc). The Twitter account also claims that the stages will be different, giving each show it’s own unique look.

Miz & Maryse Welcome Second Daughter

The world continues to get more awesome. Maryse and Miz gave birth to their second daughter, Madison Jade Mizanin, on Friday. WWE congratulated the couple on social media. The Mizanin’s first daughter, Monroe Sky, is now a bit sister. Congratulations to the happy family.

SHINE Crowns First Black Tag Team Champions

For the first time in the five-year history of the SHINE Tag Team Championships, the champions are African-American. On Saturday night, Triple Aye (Aja Perera & Big Swole, with Ayla) defeated Rainbow Bright to win the titles (h/t BellToBelles). The trio celebrated with posts on Twitter:

NJPW Destruction in Kobe – Title Change, Young Lion Cup Winner Crowned

Destruction in Kobe took place this weekend and had some big developments in NJPW (h/t CagesideSeats). The biggest development was an IWGP Intercontinental Championship title change. Jay White defeated Tetsuya Naito to win the title in the main event. This is White’s first-ever run with the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.

Elsewhere on the card, Karl Fredericks defeated Shota Umino to win the Young Lion Cup. The show also had the emergence of Kishin Liger. Minoru Suzuki tried to pull of Liger’s mask, leading to the emergence of his alter-ego. Liger then tried to attack Suzuki with a knife. It’s wild, so check it out:
