WWE SmackDown Friday Debut Lineup

Next week, WWE will debut on Fox. SmackDown will air on Friday, October 4th at 8 pm, and the card for the show is stacked. Announced for the show so far (h/t WrestlingInc):

  • Brock Lesnar versus Kofi Kingston (c) for the WWE Championship
  • Kevin Owens versus Shane McMahon in a Ladder Match – the loser will leave WWE
  • Becky Lynch & Charlotte versus Bayley & Sasha Banks

Also announced for the show are WWE legends including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, Goldberg, Sting, Lita and more.

AEW Debut Episode Adds a Match

On the latest Road to AEW on TNT, another match was added. PAC will face Adam Page on the first ever AEW Dynamite. Page is coming off of a loss to Chris Jericho for the AEW Championship at All Out. PAC was successful in his AEW debut, defeating Kenny Omega at All Out. The rest of the card for the first AEW Dynamite looks like this:

  • PAC versus Adam Page
  • Riho versus Nyla Rose for the AEW Women’s Championship
  • Cody versus Sammy Guevera
  • Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks versus Chris Jericho & Two Mystery Opponents 
  • MJF versus Brandon Cutler
  • An appearance from Jon Moxley

British TV Updates for AEW & NXT:UK

AEW Dynamite will be airing on ITV in Britain (h/t CagesideSeats). It will be airing on Sundays at 8:20, with a highlight show on Monday nights. Fans in Britain will be able to watch the show live through Fite TV. Fite announced an AEW Plus option, where international (non-US & Canada fans) can watch all of the episodes for $4.99 a month. NXT UK is changing their show date. Now the show will air Thursdays instead of Wednesdays, remaining at 8 pm BST/3 pm EST.
