New RAW Set Revealed

The new era of WWE programming kicked off on Monday night. Raw debuted a new announce team of Vic Joseph, Dio Maddin & Jerry “The King” Lawler. They also debuted a new set in a tweet before the show.

SmackDown is also rumored to be getting a new set when it debuts on Fox this Friday. Keep posted to @FPC_Wrestling on Twitter and we will share photos of the set as soon as it becomes available.

The Rock Returning To SmackDown

Finally… you know the rest. The Rock has been announced for SmackDown’s debut on Fox this Friday. He will return to the show that he helped name, and will make his first appearance on WWE programming since Wrestlemania 32. The Rock shared the news of his return on Twitter:

AEW To Air Live In Canada

Good news to my fellow canuck wrestling fans: AEW will air live each week. PWInsider is reporting that a deal is in place for AEW Dynamite to air on TSN every Wednesday night at 8 pm. No official announcement is in place at the time of writing, but Nick Jackson did Tweet out a Canadian flag.

TSN was the former home for WWE programming until 2006 when it moved to The Score (now known as Sportsnet 360). The Wednesday Night War has moved into Canadian territory, eh?
