Eric Bischoff Out, Bruce Prichard In For SmackDown
The former WCW head boss Eric Bischoff is out as Executive Director of SmackDown. According to WrestlingInc, Bischoff is out and has been replaced by Bruce Pritchard. Not only is Bischoff out as Executive Director, but he is no longer with WWE in any capacity.
Bischoff was hired in June for his role behind the scenes at SmackDown. Paul Heyman also was brought in for the same role on Raw. Heyman has been given some creative license on Raw, while it appears Bischoff was not given the same on SmackDown.
XFL Draft & Salaries Revealed
The first day of the XFL Draft was Tuesday, and it focused on skill positions. XFL announced the Tier 1 Quarterbacks and where they would be going. The group of quarterbacks include college football standouts like Oklahoma’s Landry Jones, Georgia’s Aaron Murray, and Ohio State’s Cardale Jones. Below are the eight Tier 1 QBs:

Fifteen rounds of drafting occurred Tuesday for the XFL. The rest of the draft will take place in the coming days, with specific rounds for Offensive Line, Defensive Front Seven, Defensive Backfield and an Open Draft to come. Tuesday’s draft included many standout talents from the now-defunct AAF, as well as college football stars. A full breakdown of Tuesday’s draft can be found here (h/t WrestlingInc).
Finally, information has come out about the average salary for an XFL player. According to ProFootballTalk (h/t WrestlingInc) the average player will make $55,000 a year. There is also the potential for win bonuses, and quarterbacks will make a higher amount.

Tyson Fury’s Saudi Arabia Payday
Boxing star Tyson Fury is making some serious bank for his WWE match in Saudi Arabia. According to the DailyMail (h/t Fightful) Fury is making around $15 million for his match with Braun Strowman. The report also says Fury could make around $20 million should he do another WWE match. Reports indicate he could face the winner of Brock Lesnar-Cain Velasquez on the same show.
