This Thursday, Halloween Day, is WWE Crown Jewel at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and this event has some interesting matchups. This Crown Jewel event will be ‘Live’ and has everything from a professional boxer, another former UFC heavyweight, and, of course, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan.
Halloween night has an undefeated College Football team playing (SMU) and an undefeated NFL team (49ers) in action but what do you do before handing out candy and making your NFL picks? I highly suggest jumping over to the WWE Network and watching, what I believe could be a very interesting, PPV card. I don’t see any titles changing hands Thursday in Saudi Arabia but I do see a big storyline being produced and we could see a long feud starting up.
So let’s get going with the opening WWE Crown Jewel betting odds at MyBookie.ag with my final predictions. Keep in my mind my predictions are what the books will want to see happen and what could make further WWE pay-per-views more interesting in an oddsmakers point of view.
WWE Universal Championship Match
Seth Rollins -120
The Fiend -120
I have no clue who wins this match and right now we are getting outstanding 50/50 betting. I thought the Fiend should have won Hell in a Cell, but didn’t, and the WWE Universe was not happy with that result. Keep an eye out for the Lesnar/Velasquez match as well because that outcome could predict this outcome. Also, Survivor Series is November 24, and we could see repeat storylines or new storylines with these two but as of right now I see Seth Rollins winning in Saudi Arabia.
Prediction: Seth Rollins
WWE – Crown Jewel
Team Hogan -300
Team Flair +250
Was thinking about putting up an old man prop like will Hogan and Flair get in a brawl but let’s face it, one of them could have a heart attack. The match-ups make sense having Shorty G and King Corbin on opposing sides and also Rusev and Bobby Lashley but the big difference is Team Hogan having Roman Reigns. This PPV will need a feel-good match and at the end of the match, we will see Hogan and Reigns pumping up the crowd.
Predictions: Team Hogan -300
WWE Crown Jewel Singles Match
At Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia, Mansoor overcame ridiculous odds to win the biggest Battle Royal in WWE history. We have seen Cesaro in matches like this so seeing him lose is no big deal but I would love to see the suits in the back gives us another Saudi surprise and give Cesaro a ‘W’. Probably not going to happen but an oddsmaker can wish!
Prediction: Mansoor -700
Brock Lesnar -300
Cain Velasquez +250
Does Brock Lesnar leave Saudi Arabia with the Smackdown Championship belt? Yes, he does but does he get the overall ‘W’ in this match against Cain Velasquez? Velasquez beat Lesnar in the UFC and gave Lesnar a nice scar above his eye and wouldn’t shock me to see blood in this match Halloween afternoon. Velasquez can win by disqualification, count-out, or Rey Mysterio could enter the ring to save the title win for another time. Something weird will happen in this heavyweight match and again at the end of the event, Lesnar will still be the champ. For Now!!
Prediction: Brock Lesnar -300
How Many F5’s Will Brock Lesnar give Cain Velasquez?
Over 5.5 -130
Under 5.5 +100
Why not make a Brock Lesnar F5 betting prop for this match against Cain Velasquez? This match won’t be long and I see Lesnar giving Velasquez a total of four F5s.
Prediction: Under 5.5 +100
Crown Jewel Singles Match
Tyson Fury -600
Braun Strowman +450
I’m still trying to figure out why Tyson Fury is promoting himself in the WWE and why he is wrestling Braun Strowman. This is not the first time a boxer has been in the ring with a WWE wrestler (not talking about Thunder Lips against Rocky Balboa) but I’m talking about Floyd Mayweather against the Big Show at WrestleMania 24. Don’t forget, Mayweather used brass knuckles to beat the Big Show and Sunday I see another boxer winning in the wrestling ring. I smell publicity written all over this match and we will have to move off -600 sometime Wednesday afternoon or sooner.
Prediction: Tyson Fury -600
