The Wrestling Roundup is here to bring you all the news and rumors you need to know in one place.

NXT Results:

One of the most interesting parts of NXT last night was the opening: Singer Poppy played Io Shirai to the ring and it was intense.

Finn Balor explained his actions and cut the best promo we’ve heard from him in ages:

And the biggest result of all: Women’s War Games announced for NXT: War Games III.  Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley will be team captains and choose teams of five for War Games. Should be an absolute delight. Another War Games match will likely take place, teased by Tomasso Ciampa at the end of the night.

The match results for the night are:
  • Io Shirai def. Candice LeRae; Rhea Ripley saves LeRae from a post-match beatdown
  • Bronson Reed def. Shane Thorne
  • Kabuki Warriors (c) def. Tegan Nox & Dakota Kai to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
  • Cameron Grimes def. Tyler Bate
  • Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish def. Matt Riddle & Keith Lee

AEW also had a big night, crowning their first-ever tag team champions. A full breakdown of last night’s AEW Dynamite will be posted shortly.

First Women’s Wrestling Match In Saudi Arabia at Crown Jewel

WWE will put on the first women’s wrestling match in Saudi Arabia on Thursday. The company announced that Lacey Evans will face Natalya during Crown Jewel. It was made official during the Crown Jewel media event on Wednesday (h/t WrestlingInc).

Women’s wrestling matches have been rumored at past Saudi Arabia shows, but this will be the first. Evans & Natalya will be wearing bodysuits, according to TMZ. This would be similar to when Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss competed in Abu Dhabi in December 2017.

Moxley-Omega At Full Gear Will Be Unsanctioned

Due to the violent nature of their feud, Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega will compete in a Lights Out Unsanctioned match at Full Gear. It was announced in a video tweeted out by AEW ahead of Dynamite Wednesday night.

The two have had a brutal feud so far. Moxley debuted in AEW by attacking Omega at Double or Nothing. On the first episode of Dynamite, Moxley put Omega head-first through a glass table. These two should have an absolute war at Full Gear.

Happy Hallowe’en! Throwback Thursday time.
